The DuPage Homeownership Center (DHOC) is accepting nominations for the 2008 Robert Christ Affordable Housing Award named for Bob Christ, DHOC’s founding Board President and leading affordable housing advocate. Nominations are due by 5:00 p.m., Thursday, February 28, 2008.

Winners will be selected based on:

• Award Rationale: Significant achievement in promoting or creating affordable housing opportunities in DuPage County
• Leadership: Development of awareness on affordable housing issues, pioneering systemic change, forming alliances, sharing experience and counsel
• Collaboration: Demonstration of partnerships or activities that leverage community resources
• Proven Commitment: History of commitment to affordable housing, track record of successful implementation of program or activity cited in award rationale
• Empowerment/Respect: Protection and enhancement of opportunity for those served by the program.
