Presenters Wanted for Illinois Conference of Volunteer Administrators

Conference of Volunteer AdministratorsRequests for presenters information for the 2008 Illinois Conference of Volunteer Administrators (ICOVA) conference is now available online. The conference will take place May 8-9, 2008, at the Chicago Marriott in Oak Brook. Proposals are due on Friday, November 30, 2007, and should include:

  • Workshop Title
  • Presenter Information Sheet
  • Workshop Description
  • Learning Objectives
  • One-page Outline
  • Professional Reference (if new to ICOVA)

Workshops are 90 minutes long, and conference presenters will be selected based on the timeliness and originality of the proposed discussion topic, as well as clarity of conference objectives. Possible conference topics are available on the downloadable application.

The ICOVA is a two-day, high-quality program designed for those who lead, supervise or in any way manage volunteers. The conference offers enrichment by educating and supporting volunteer administrators in the Midwest and beyond. The conference traditionally attracts volunteer administration professionals with a wide range of knowledge and experience, representing the nonprofit, governmental and private sectors in the State of Illinois.
